I’ve struggled with perfectionism for as long as I can remember. One of the things that I hate most about it is that everything I do seems to take longer to start and longer to finish than other people. In other words, perfectionism tries to slow me down from achieving my goals, and oftentimes even keeps me from achieving them at all. I’ve gotten better at ignoring my perfectionist tendencies, but it’s not easy.
It’s hard for me to admit that I wrestle with a perfectionist inside of me, but I wanted to share this because I know I’m not the only one. I help people to improve their health naturally. I try to make their health as perfect as possible without drugs or surgeries. However, when it comes to health, it’s even more important to ignore perfectionism than other areas of life. Why? Because if you don’t, you’ll actually end up sacrificing your health in the process.
