This is the most painful, but effective treatment for plantar fasciitis. It can be performed using a stone or tools, but I prefer using my hands so I can feel the fascia breaking up. The pressure used during this technique is the maximum pressure possible. The goal is to change the chronic inflammation into acute inflammation, which brings blood, oxygen, and nutrients to the area to heal the soft tissue. It is a very painful procedure and once started, it must be finished. A half-a$$ed job will only lead to more inflammation without resolve causing a worsening of the plantar fasciitis.

After treatment care:
Do not ice! Gently roll a tennis ball forward and backward on the bottom of your foot 2x per day for 1 week. Do not roll the ball side to side or use deep pressure.

⚠️Please do not attempt to do this at home! This treatment should only be done by a chiropractic physician or other licensed healthcare professional who has experience with soft tissues modalities such as this one.
